Introduction
The Coachella Valley is buzzing with excitement about the brand new Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, the new home of the American Hockey League‘s Firebirds. It will be host to the biggest musical acts and major family and sporting events in the greater Palm Springs area.
The Acrisure Arena is a state–of–the–art facility located in downtown Palm Springs, and it features seating for over 8,000 spectators and up to 11,000 seats for concerts and other events. It also features an expansive lobby, luxury suites, and expanded concourses that make it the perfect home for professional hockey. On top of that, the arena is also equipped with a top–notch entertainment system, including a giant HDTV, and a sound system that is sure to make every game an exciting experience.
The arena is home to the American Hockey League‘ Firebirds. The Firebirds will play all of their home games at the Acrisure Arena, providing fans with top–notch hockey entertainment.
Widely recognized as one of the most prestigious and exciting minor league hockey teams in the country, the Firebirds are sure to bring an exciting new level of professional sports to the desert. The Acrisure Arena is the first full–scale professional hockey arena in the Coachella Valley, and its opening is sure to bring a new level of excitement to the area. The Firebirds have already had a successful season in their new home, with a record of 22 wins and only 6 losses.
In addition to hockey, the Acrisure Arena will be hosting a variety of other events, such as concerts, conventions, and comedy acts. The arena is equipped with a state–of–the–art sound system and lighting, ensuring that each event is experienced in the best possible way.
History
Acrisure Arena broke ground on June 2, 2021, on 43.35 acres (17.54 ha) of land near the city of Palm Desert, between Interstate 10 and the Classic Club golf course. It is the home arena for the American Hockey League‘s Coachella Valley Firebirds. Acrisure, a financial technology company, paid an undisclosed sum for 10 years of naming rights.
