Clubs are diverse in areas of interest including Arts & Crafts, Astronomy, Cards, and Board Games. Charitable Giving and Volunteering, Dancing, and Photography. Always wanted to play bridge but didn’t have the time? Then join the Social Bridge club. Did you want to play with motorized miniature sailboats? Join the Yacht Club!
If you want to volunteer your time, sixteen different committees at Sun City welcome residents to get involved. These include the Arts & Crafts Show, Communities Activities Committee, Compliance, Election, Emergency Preparedness, Finance Fitness & Recreation, and the Library Committee to name just a few. I’ve joined a book and desert gardening club. Then I branched out and joined a writer’s group. Larry Larkin states- “Living here is like being a summer camp for adults! I meet my buddies and play pickleball every morning. During the day I head to one of our gyms and take advantage of their yoga classes or go swim some laps. There’s always entertainers coming to town so we like to take in a show now and then too- you can’t be bored living here unless you want to be.”
