Your hosts

Alps Village is family owned and operated, by chef Milka and her daughter, Blanka.  You can always find them at the restaurant preparing fresh dishes that have quickly become local favorites.   Milka was born in Mostar (former Yugoslavia) and grew up with a love of cooking.  During the Yugoslavian war in the 1990s, she moved to Germany.   There she worked in several restaurants experimenting with German flavors.  She uses those cooking experiences from Germany and her native country to create a unique blend of European dishes.
